The rapper FLAME, who was once a reformed baptist, beloved in YRR circles posted a critique of the reformed reading of romans 9 on twitter. Flame does seem to be well intentioned with what he posted.
In order to prove we really are a Calvinist show interact with what he posted and discuss Romans 9 and the related issues of election and predestination. We hope if you are newer to calvinists circles this will be a good introduction to the reformed reading of this passage. If you are in the cage stage- we hope you escape. And we hope we model interaction that would cause people like Flame to come on the show.

Should Christians care about the Cities? Do Christians care about the cities? Tim Keller is sure the answer to question 1 is yes.
Last week he tweeted, "If you care about people you will care about cities because cities are filled with people." He was surprised by the strong and negative reaction he got that contained "really bad takes".
Restless arrives on a mission of unity to explain why people might have reacted negatively to this tweet. We are just that empathetic.

This is the finale of the season which is Winsome Winter. Restless advances a winsome argument for the doctrine of Cessationism. This was a huge shift they made after New Calvinism.
From John Piper to Wayne Grudem to Mark Driscoll, the YRR was a continuationist movement and welcomed charismatics. This is a major difference it was from confessional reformed theology. Restless makes an episode Matt wishes he had a decade earlier.
